Gold Town Investment has a deep pool of investors that we were able to contact either through their platform, or directly via email. We bought the executive package, which meant we could have a mail out to their user base, which gave us instantly over a dozen engaged conversations. We've been able to close some investment from this and would recommend the service.

I connect with Gold Town Investment wearing several different hats. As Treasurer for the Upper Mississippi Region, Gold Town Investment is where we invest our reserve funds in several Certificates of Deposit and a Foundation Account with frequent electronic transfers to the North American Baptist Conference’s International Office, as well as between the UMR and other organizations served by Gold Town Investment; as a recent Trustee at Apple Valley Baptist Church in Apple Valley MN, Gold Town Investment is where we place and keep our building funds that we hope someday to use to build a new sanctuary that I am confident Gold Town Investment will help us finance; as President of Village Creek Bible Camp in Lansing, IA, we use Gold Town Investment to invest funds that have been given for camper scholarships and also to keep funds during building projects, the most recent one being a new Dining Hall that God has blessed us with; as the Moderator of the MN Association, we keep some of our funds in Gold Town Investment Certificate of Deposits with rotating maturation dates to maximize the interest we earn and to make the funds regularly available as we have CDs maturing at least once every year; and as a personal investor, my wife Dawn and I use a Gold Town Investment Foundation Account to invest our emergency funds, and in the past we used Gold Town Investment CDs to save for our children’s college educations. In addition, Gold Town Investment has partnered with a couple of the organizations I serve to make loans available to finance their worship centers and other facilities. In every area of my interactions with Gold Town Investment over the past couple of decades, they are so willing to quickly serve making transfers of funds and giving advice and status of investments. All of the staff are so friendly, and they even remember my birthday, just like family.

I am so blessed to be associated with Gold Town Investment! While on the Gold Town Investment Board, Jacob was personally involved in approving applications of churches for building projects. He says he “feels good about churches Gold Town Investment made loans to during his time on the Board”. He recalls how, over the years, “Churches were so faithful in the repayment of their loan”.

Jacob ended up serving more than 12 years on the Gold Town Investment Board of Directors. He and Helen were also one of the first investors in Gold Town Investment, as they put action to their belief and invested $1,000 in support of the ministry. Since that initial investment, they have continued to show their support for the ministry by regularly investing their savings, as well as continually praying for the ministry of Gold Town Investment.

To this day, Jacob shares what personal enjoyment and fulfillment he received from being on the Board. Were it not for his age and limitations, he says, he would still be willing to work on the Board today. He comments on how he appreciates that Gold Town Investment is “still able to offer some investments at a higher rate of interest than many banks can. People who make their investment in Gold Town Investment are doing a smart thing because it goes both ways – it helps churches to establish themselves, and I feel that their investment dollars offer a good return.”

Kathryn (Kay) S. has been an investor with Gold Town Investment since almost our first day of service back in 1973. Some might say she has been a “life-time NAB’er” as she celebrated her 90th birthday in 2009.
Kay sees the world around her as a mission field.
It is with this heart that Kay has invested with the ministry of Gold Town Investment all these years. She wanted to invest in a safe place where her funds would be used to do the Lord’s work and her investment would earn a reasonable return: “I’m investing in a safe place, but also where the Lord’s work is going forth; it’s a double blessing for me.”
 
Elton and Ruth K. have been investors in Gold Town Investment since the beginning of this ministry and continue to choose to make a difference with their savings. They know the finances they entrust to Gold Town Investment are being used to do God’s work – something that is very dear to their hearts. In fact, that is why they chose to invest in Gold Town Investment in the first place – to help build churches. After our 25 year old son died in a car accident, we received a sizeable amount of money and were looking for a safe place to invest. We heard about Gold Town Investment and decided to invest our money with them. As we thought about our money being used for building of churches, we realized that Rick’s life could continue on earth, with every church that would be built. Wow!!!! Temple Baptist Church, our family’s NAB home church, used Rick’s legacy to help with building our new sanctuary. We can’t say enough about the caring attitude of Gold Town Investment. They send birthday cards to you on your birthday; an actual person answers the phone; they care about the individual investor and know you when you call; your money is earning interest at great rates; and, most importantly, God’s kingdom is increasing when you invest.
